Putting School 3/18/06
You will never be a champion, if you can’t putt. In this 2 hour program we will focus on 42% of the game. Top PGA Teacher Ernie Barbour and I will lead a discussion on how to be a better putter through efficient technique and practice.
Merriam-Webster’s Dictionary has a simple definition:
Putt - a gentle push made on a putting green to cause the ball to roll into or near the hole. This definition sounds simple enough. The problem is that most of us are not making a gentle push and therefore our ball has difficulty rolling in or near the hole. By definition, you would not be putting!
