New Golfer School 5/05/06

I believe an entire day dedicated to learning with no distractions is the best way to develop your skills.  We will discuss and practice all facets of the game.  In this small group setting, you will have plenty of one-on-one instruction and the camaraderie of others.  The school caters to the NEW golfer! We will start a relationship that will last long after the day is over.  A typical day..

A New Golfer School is the best and quickest way to learn to play golf.  You will learn all of the basic techniques for golf, and how to apply them on the course.  In this small group setting, you will have plenty of one-on-one instruction and the camaraderie of others.  We will start a relationship that will last long after the day is over.

During a New Golfer School you will learn how to safely play the game and how to avoid embarrassment.  O.K. I can’t guarantee all of the embarrassment part.  You will learn the rules, etiquette, safety, dress code, pre-round and post-round duties.  We will be on the course experiencing many situations that happen in golf.  You will leave with the confidence to entertain clients, and learn the proper attire and lingo to fit in with the culture of golfers.  I’ll admit your game will not be perfect, but at least you will know how to play the game and what to expect.  And you will learn it all in a day!  A typical day..

8am - 3pm (7hrs)
7:45 Warm-up before the lesson (optional)
8:00 Introductions We will discuss why are you wanting to learn the game.
8:15 Putting A golf stroke made on a putting green to cause the ball to roll into or near the hole.
9:00 Chipping & Pitching We will discuss the two seperate strokes, used in different situations.
10:00 Fullswing State-of-the-Art Video Analysis by JC Video.  This is the ultimate experience for the golfer who is a visual learner.  And 87% of you are.  You will receive a CD of your swing with voice-over.
11:00 Lunch from the lunch menu at The Bridges Golf Club Restaurant.
12:00-3:00 On-Course InstructionI will discuss numerous situations you will find on the course.  We will discuss rules, etiquette, and pace of play.  You will know how to safely get around the course in a reasonable amount of time, without sacrificing fun.
