The Bridges Practice CenterThe practice and learning facilities at the Bridges Golf Club are among the best in the Bay Area. The facility features two indoor/outdoor teaching bays, four putting greens, a practice bunker, a lighted range with a grass tee.
Teaching Bays
The indoor/outdoor teaching bay from which I teach is ideal for learning. It features state-of-the-art JC Video digital analysis. Large mirrors for instant feedback. I also use several other learning tools in my instruction. The overall look and feel of the room is full of an enthusiastic energy for learning.
Club Fitting
We have 5 custom fitting carts from Titleist, Cobra, Taylor Made, Ping and La Jolla. We have certified clubfitters on hand. In my opinion, being able to fit people for golf clubs based on ball flight is the only way to go.
Short Game Area Coming Soon!
A short game area, 50 yards by 90 yards, is currently being developed. It will include 3 more greens and several bunkers to practice every shot you could imagine from inside 100 yards.

Professional Golf Motion-Analysis Software
It has always been very difficult to convince people that what they feel isn't always real. With video we are able to stop arguing and start learning. And since 87% of learning is visual, I can't afford to teach without it. I am so dedicated to video that I have taught 10,000 lessons in my short career, and all included video. I feel it's a waste of time to teach without it.
In my commitment to stay current with technology, I have upgraded my software to JC Video's Professional Golf Motion-Analysis Software. Below you will see many of the special features of the software.
Please don't get offended if I never use some of these features in our lesson(s). Everyone has a unique learning style, therefore everyone needs different cues to 'get it'. And that's what makes my job fun. Here is just a few features of the software:
Voice Over to CD
How it works... I place a review of our lesson together on a CD-R. The .avi file is readable by most media players. The video file has my vocal comments of your swing and you can make the picture as big as your monitor. You can play the CD on any of your home, office, or laptop computers. Image you could be anywhere and watch the review of your golf lesson. The only requirement I have is that you bring your CD back to each lesson. We will compile summaries of each lesson on the same disc. You will have your entire series of lessons in short summaries on the same compact disc!
Dual Camera Capture
I have a two camera set-up. We are able to view the same swing from two different angles at the same time. The cameras are in sync with each other and can capture the swing at a shutter speed of up to 10,000. This just means the club isn't blurry like we see on television analysis.
Hands Free Auto-Capture
At the sound of the club striking the ball, the computer will back-up into memory 1.3 seconds, go forward 1.0 second and capture only that segment (2.3 secs) for review. I can also set the software to capture the swing, auto repeat in slow-motion then re-arm itself waiting for the next sound of impact. All effects are adjustable. This allows me to customize the program for your swing. Once it's set, we basically don't have to do a thing between swings. This means that when you hit a ball, the swing is automatically captured and played back at any speed without touching a thing!! It's pretty cool.
Compare
My software allows you to place any two video clips together on the screen at the same time. They could be two swings of yourself, before and after, or you in comparison to a Tour Player. I can synchronize the two video clips, and playback both screens simultaneously allowing us to make exacting comparisons.
Analyze
I can slow down, speed up, rewind, and swing back and forth until we have successfully made a diagnosis and established a solution. I may also draw lines, add text, and measure angles. Variable Rate Slow Motion Replay, Forward and Reverse.
Graphics and Drawing Tools
These are the cute colored lines and circles I'm able to draw on the screen. Graphics Overlay for Demonstrating Correct Body/Swing Position.
Tour Player Data Base
I've got a huge database of PGA and LPGA Tour Players' golf swings that I can pull up and compare your swing too. It's growing daily.
Launch Angle, Clubhead Speed, and Ball Speed
These are launch condition measurements that can be taken to compare two swings or two different drivers.
Left-Handed Players Special Feature
Mirror Image Replay of Swing for Left-Handed Players. We can even compare you to a Tour Player by making them also left-handed

Other Features
This feature is called total vision. I can over lap frames of your swing. There are about two dozen features I haven't mentioned, but are available for viewing at JC Video.com. They also have a student version of the software you can use to analyze your swing.
